Chain Reaction of Kindness

Creating Opportunities. Changing Lives. One kind donation and one Pedal Stroke at a Time.

Chain Reaction of Kindness was established by Lindsay Pringle with Chain Gang MTB Club, from a simple belief: cycling can change lives, and everyone should have the opportunity to experience its benefits.

What began as a Christmas campaign to support commuters who rely on bicycles to travel to work has the potential to grow into a sustainable, year-round community initiative.

This year, the campaign once again aims to support bicycle commuters by helping them travel more safely through access to essential safety equipment, visibility gear and bicycle maintenance support. Trail Wolf Cycles will be donating their time and expertise to basic maintenance so the commuters have a smoother ride.

Through the collection and redistribution of bicycles, helmets, protective equipment, funding, skills and resources, Chain Reaction of Kindness aims to break down barriers to cycling, create opportunities and build stronger, safer cycling communities.

Our vision extends beyond commuter safety. We want to create opportunities for children and young people from underserved communities to learn to ride, develop cycling skills, experience the sport of mountain biking and discover opportunities they may never otherwise have had access to.

Our long-term goal is to establish a registered non-profit organisation that works alongside businesses, cycling organisations, schools, volunteers and community partners to create meaningful, sustainable and measurable change through cycling.

At the heart of everything we do is a belief that a bicycle can be more than just a means of transport or a piece of sporting equipment. It can provide freedom, build confidence, create independence, open doors and change lives.

A small act of kindness can set something much bigger in motion.
